Kids at Hope Honor Awards
Set aside an hour to celebrate the successes your
children have already had. Print awards on store
bought or computer generated stationary. Make
sure each child receives recognition for
something - and be creative! Give awards out
for the best sense of humor, best helper, nicest
person, and most compassionate person. Once
your students feel that first taste of success they'll
want more - and they'll work hard to get it!
Don't overlook the numerous opportunities each day
for a child to succeed in your classroom or youth
center. Ask children to help organize activities, to
help plan programs, to pass out supplies or to collect
homework. Every little success helps to prepare a
child for more successes!
