Regional Youth Development Master's Seminar

The success and effectiveness of the National Youth Development Master's Institute encouraged local leaders to establish a series of regional events modeled after the National Master's Institute in order to permit more participation and local involvement. With support of the Kids at Hope National, groups across the country have designed the Regional Youth Development Master's Seminar, a 2 1/2 day professional development experience to further explore evidence-based practices related to child and youth development and their influence on a child's emotional, social and intellectual development.

National and local experts in the fields of resiliency theory and application, positive psychology and education along with other sciences will explore their work and achievement at each of the Regional Master's Seminars.

The following Regional Youth Development Master's Seminars have been scheduled:

Southeast Region:  January 11-13, 2010

Northwest Region: October21-23, 2010

Midwest Region: TBD
